Vegan Proteins to Avoid

E-mail Print PDF

There are many “fake foods” that are marketed to vegans and vegetarians. Many of these fake foods are located in the “health” section of your grocery store. They include fake meats like soy dogs, soy burgers, soy patties, and soy candy bars, to name just a few. While some vegans enjoy these foods because they taste very similar to the real thing, it is important to recognize that these foods contain isolated soy proteins. As we will see, isolated soy proteins are unhealthy, they directly contribute to cancer growth, and they should be avoided. I recommend Dr. McDougall Right Foods Instant Soupas a much healthier convenient alternative to many of these other "fake foods."

Furthermore, we will see that it isn’t even necessary that vegans eat beans in order to achieve the correct amount of protein in their diets.
